Our client was ready to expand into their unused basement space and needed a background-ready bar for their bourbon. We went through several designs before we landed on the one we loved and got to work creating a basement and entertaining space for the ages. Step inside our latest complete basement transformation. Where once there was a dingy, unfinished space below ground, now there’s a showpiece wet bar, full bathroom, private guest room/home gym, large living room space, increased storage, and perfectly placed basement laundry. The focal point for this basement remodel triumph was a popular request with a unique twist. The luxurious wet bar was conceived and created for this client’s bourbon youtube channel. The bar needed to be visually appealing as it displays the client’s signature collection for the camera. We featured the beautiful bottles with glass cabinet doors and custom cabinet lighting to keep them looking their best. We also included floating shelves around the bar seating to display other bourbon delights.
We created a brand-new bathroom to create a contained experience for basement gatherings and a complete living space for entertaining out-of-town guests. This crisp and classic basement bathroom features a freestanding white vanity with an under-mounted sink and plenty of storage space. Mixed metallics continue to be popular. This clean white bathroom features gold plumbing fixtures and oil-rubbed bronze drawer handles, mirror, and shower bar. This inviting space means overnight guests can easily attend to every need without leaving the basement, offering comfort and ultimate privacy.
The existing basement laundry left much to be desired. Re-locating the basement laundry station and creating a clever cubby to conceal the machines was a high priority for this remodel, as the current laundry station was an ill-positioned eyesore. We built an extra-wide space to accommodate the large washer and dryer, which sit atop drawers for extra storage.
